Meet Dr. Karl Gravitis

Dr. Gravitis is originally from Hamilton, with undergraduate degrees from The University of Toronto and Guelph. He studied dentistry at the University of Western Ontario, and started his dental career with the Canadian Armed Forces, in Halifax. He was a base dental officer with the Canadian UN contingent in Cyprus, on HMCS Preserver and at CFB Shearwater. He received his specialty certificate in Periodontics from Dalhousie University, and then returned to Ontario to set up specialty practise in St. Catharines. Karl has lectured internationally and locally, on dental and periodontal topics, with several publications. His interest in dental implantology led him to achieve a Fellowship from the International College of Oral Implantologists. On his days off, you may find him puttering around his garden in Beamsville or playing with his puppy Einstein. Karl is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys hiking, fishing and hunting.
